Here are a few things that maybe not everyone knows about the information you can get from Google Analytics.
Men or women
Google Analytics allows you to see the gender of your visitors. To view this information you go to the Audience menu and there you will find the Demographics panel.
In this panel you can also see the average age of your visitors, as well as the Interests of your visitors.
Again in the Audience menu, there is a Geo option, and then Location. This panel will show you a summary of geographical locations that shows where your visitors are located.
In the Geo option you can not only view the Location but also view what language your visitor uses.
This can be useful information to have, this shows you what device your visitor is using to view your website, laptop, desktop, and what mobile device they may be using. This is useful because then if majority of your users are viewing your site on mobile, you can make sure that your site if fully optimized for this view so you don’t lose any customers.
Browsers and Operating Systems
Under the acquisition menu, you will find a technology section, this will show you what browser, IE, firefox, chrome etc. that the user may be using. You may even find browsers you never heard of.
Another useful one under Acquisition menu, then search console you will be able to see what queries users are typing in to find your website.
Worst page on your website
Go to Behaviour, Site Content and then Exit Pages. Here you can see what page majority of your users drop off of. You can see what pages attract traffic and what repels traffic.
