Digital video is a type of video recording system that works through a digital video signal compared with traditional hands-on video cameras. One of the biggest benefits of digital videos is that it can be easily copied multiple times with almost no quality degradation. Furthermore, digital video can easily be edited using a wide range of hardware and software. Digital video isn’t only used for digital television but also for internet distribution of media, video conferencing systems and of course, mobile phones.

Animation is a massive expressive medium which includes many unique styles and genres from classical 2D animation to hardy Claymation, where creativity is the only limitation. There are vast lists of unique animation styles which is constantly evolving and innovating with new forms and techniques by fresh young generations.

Most recently, motion graphics has taken the world by storm since the rise of the internet. As static images are less engaging and therefore less stimulating and entertaining, viewers tend to lose interest faster. Motion graphics is a form of animation in which information is conveyed through the movement of illustrations, text, graphs, data, and other graphics. A medium that is more appealing to the current generation of viewers, as the use of motion engages the viewer and stimulates the mind which makes information easier to absorb and potentially retain. Motion graphics are readily used in news broadcasts, internet videos, online schools as well as training programs. In the era of social media and dopamine addiction, creators must innovate to attract their target audience to take every opportunity in this competitive landscape.
